Was wondering why some cannot ship it from the U.S to Canada. Cabela's will not but the sausage maker will.

Probably a pain to ship it because it is considered HAZ-MAT for shipping purposes.

Cabela's is a big outfit that probably follow all rules.  Sausage maker may throw in a box and let it ride.

It may be due to the type of carrier they choose to ship by. I know that Sausage Maker will not ship natural casings outside of the U.S. So if it is a matter of law I do not think Sausage Maker would ship it, or if there is a law they may not be aware of it.
