Title: sirloin tip beef roast? help please

got my maverick ET-732 on friday so i pulled a 4 pound sirloin tip roast that i had in the freezer

rubbed and put it in after preheating, did 2 hours of mesquite and after about 3 hours the IT is reading 151 F

at what IT should i pull this out and for a FTC?

I would get it out now.

I usually take them out at a lower temp. Yours will be med/well to my knowledge.

If you're looking for pulled beef, keep going to 180-185.

If you are looking for rare roast beef, it's overdone.

I like to pull mine at 140 then FTC for a couple of hours.

thanks everyone for their input

tried to reply sooner but was getting some kind of forum template error message so my post wouldn't go threw

pulled it right away after reading the first post and FTC for about an hour. it was med-well and tasted very good. will pull it sooner next time :)

sorry no pics for this one as the camera was outta batteries! lol
