So my favorite Mexican grocery had chicken breasts(bone in) on sale for 99cents/lb. Now this is an actual food chain...not a mom and pop place. The head butcher always comes out when he sees me, I think because he is fluent in English. I told him I wanted 10 breasts, you order by piece not pound. He told the clerk what I wanted. While we were talking I asked about pork belly...they didn't have any but he will order me one and comes in on Wednesday...more later on that. The breasts were whole not split.

This is how they pack to take home. One huge bag.
So I put in colander to rinse before packing for freezing.

Them breasts look great!
never considered doing bone in breast. those look very nice. i'll have to keep that in mind.
Nice looking tan skin on those breasts ;)
Those look mighty tasty. I love to do breasts with the bone in because I think it somehow keeps the meat more moist.

Ditto.
Thanks everyone. I agree bone in are way more juicy, especially when not brined.
I should be thanking you KyNola for sharing Jan's recipe. I'm always looking for rubs for chicken. So far her's beat others hands down!
