Title: Have Sheetrock, Will Travel..
Post by: squirtthecat on March 10, 2011, 05:46:43 PM
(this is kinda-sorta one of those 'people pointing and laughing' posts)

Hal drops me a note yesterday...    Dude, can you meet me at Lowe's after work and haul some drywall back to my house?   I've got a TON of beer for you.
Well, that pretty much sealed the deal.  ;)

I measured my meat/pellet hauler, and 4x8 sheets will lay down flat in the back - with a few 'mods'.

One trip to Petsmart later..  (needed it anyway)    The cargo bar across the middle was only 1/4" higher that the buckets. Close enough.

Loaded up.

We tooled down the back roads to his house, but I didn't notice the van full of people a the first major intersection pointing and laughing...
Good thing I'm not sensitive.

Who's laughing now??   ;D

Bold move my friend. If I tried that, the street would have resembled the backstretch of Talledega with speedy-dry all over the place >:(

At least it's lite beer. No worries about overloading the springs.

I like the way you fellers roll!!  I'd come dry wall with ya any time ;)

That said, I think you may just have to drink all of that American swill if you wanted to
get a good buzz however.  Last time I was in the USA I found it to be like flavored water.
None the less I'd drink it with NO problems..... if your buying!!

Cheers

Good haul Pat! Coming and going.

What's in the bags? I didn't see them in the earlier pics.

Is it the good stuff? George Dickel? Jim Beam? Crown Royal?

More beer from his garage fridge!    It was getting rather old, so I'm going to dispose of it properly.  ;)
