thank you Sonny!
when i posted that i had bought a used Lil Tex with an analog controller, crg sent me a PM to let me know he had the inside track on the new Traeger 180F. it was half the price it would have been here from my local Traeger dealer in Canada.
what a deal. this man is a Saint!
thanks again!
Awesome... You'll love that controller compared to the LMH one.
He's a peach alright. Nice deal on that baby.
They broke the mold after that little monkey ;D
He got that controller for me to. You will love the control you get with it
Could some one send me a link to this controller. [ the one that Sonny sent] What voltage does it run on and what voltage can it control? Will it energize a 110 volt coil? I have a Propane burner in my smoker and I use a 110 volt solenoid valve to switch between high fire and low fire. I then have a bypass plumbed around the valve with a needle valve incorporated in the bypass. This way I can control the level of low fire. The controller just clicks on and off and switches between low and high fire to hold the temperature. I just do not presently have a digital controller. I depend on a thermo-bulb to switch back and forth. That causes a little larger temperature swing them I would like.
