Bought a heat element from Y&P for my dual element upgrade that I have not done yet. It is the DF 120V 500W 1006 GYQ series. This seems to be the element that is subject to burn out. Wonder if I ought to just send it back to Y&P and get another series from Bradley. Has it been determined that all these elements of this series are bad?

Hey Dadakota,

Could you PM me your order #? There is a good chance your element came directly from Bradley.

Also, any elements we ship, according to Bradley, have been more thoroughly tested then previous elements.

Hi Dadakota

All our elements have been tested even the 1006 series that were remaining in our factory have been retested.

You do not need to send them back to Yard & Pool.
