Title: First ABT's
Post by: steve-o on March 25, 2011, 11:01:24 AM
I thought I would give ABT's a try this week, and after doing them I dont know what I waiting for. They were awesome, and they disappeared at work in record time. I only got 1 :'( But yeah highly recommended. I used bratwurst for the meat and I put some chipolte puree in the cream cheese for a bit of kick. Everyone at work loved them and I think one guy is buyin a DBS today.

Yeah that's what were talking about. They sound really good. Did you hit the outside of the bacon with some of your favorite rub? That always kicks it up a notch

I put a dash of Jan's Rub in each of them, but I forgot to put some on the bacon

Hey guys, last time I did a load of ABT's I used honey nut cream cheese on some of them. They were great...smoky, sweet, savory and spicy. It may not be for everyone but I loved them, if any of y'all try them please let me know what ya think
