Title: Back Bacon & Maple Belly Bacon
Post by: Shozzy on March 26, 2011, 02:59:27 PM
I've been researching and reading on here for weeks in preparation for my first attempt at Bacon.  The Back bacon is out of the smoker, sat in the fridge over night, sliced, and already been part of a delicious club house sandwich!  The belly bacon hit the smoker about half an hour ago.  Thanks for all the  help!  Here's a couple pictures of the back bacon, ill post pics of the belly when its out of the smoker!

Here's the belly cured, dried, rubbed with maple syrup and ready to hit the smoker....

Well Bacon is done, been sliced and fried!  Delicious!  The only surprise was that there is no maple flavor, i used bradleys maple cure and rubbed the bellies down with maple syrup before smoking.  Either way it is still delicious!
