Felt like something a little different this week so I broke out the note book and decided on some Lasagna.
Started off with 2 lb ground deer and browned it, mama caught me cookin the deer and rolled her eyes and walked away shakin her head. Mama dont like deer, so she says, I put it in everything. ::)
Added a big ole onion, green pepper, chopped garlic, a couple cans stewed tomatoes and a few spices.
Put 1/3 of that good ness on the bottom of the pan.

A layer of noodles.

Then the secret ingredient, Spinage, Ricotta cheese, Parmashan cheese and a couple eggs with a dash of salt and pepper.

Put some of that on the noodles.

As far as I know, any food or recipe that has "Florentine" in the name contains spinach in it ... i.e. Ravioli Florentine, Chicken Florentine, etc ... I guess they just couldn't say: Ravioli Spinach, Chicken Spinach ... Just doesn't sound right somehow ;D ;D
Curt that looks fantastic. Gotta love lasagna the day after. Nice job!!
Man, that looks great! I'm so hungry now! Bookmarked!
Heck! I would pay you to eat some of that...really looks good...
Gary

You would think that after 26 years she would quit complaining about the deer meat. :D
I cook every thing, well almost every thing with deer meat. ;D
