Title: North Alabama Bellies
Post by: GusRobin on March 30, 2011, 09:32:43 AM
Think I found a place to get fresh bellies at around $3 lb. (in 10 lb cuts). Tommie/Morgan -  man said if you order it on Mon/Tues they will have it processed and ready by Friday. They are a farm and don't have a store, but you can arrange to pick up on Saturday if you like.
Probably try it next week.

Don't know. I am just glad to find somewhere that hopefully I can get some decent bellies.

They raise Duroc/Berkshire blended pigs...   :o :o

Probably worth every bit of 3 bucks a pound for the bellies!

Pick up some butts and ribs while you are at it..

Hey Gus, thanks for the info.   I have been going crazy the last few months at my house so this maybe a good thing to get and take my mind off work and home life!

Going crazy myself with buying my Grandparents (1965) house and remolding it inside (outside to come) to put our daughter and grandson into. But I can see some fresh bacon coming! Thanks Gus and I look forward to learning from what you do! Good luck!  ;D
