Hi all,
Was working on some baby backs last night. I had been having some issues with temps on my Bradley but I thought "It's just to cold and the wind to bad." Well this time it was in the 70's and the cabnet was up to almost 100 F in just the sun. Wind, which there are many posts on issues with it, was minimal (a rarity in Dallas).
The temp was still low and climbing slowly.
Than I checked everything out and noticed the connector cord was unplugged. It looks like it was unplugged from the cover going on and off.
Managed to get the ribs done still but now it should be a little easier doing things in the future.

Self remedied is a good thing!!
I dought very much if there is a person on this forum that has not done something in their lives that has not had that feeling...It takes a hell of man to come on the forum and admit to it..we are all human...and you found the problem..good for you... :D
A solar-powered Bradley? I want one!
The main issue is that I'm a computer person. The first thing you always, always, ALWAYS do is make sure something is plugged in.
The multiple power cords threw me off. Afterall the main display said it was working.
I recommend an upgrade with all new Bradleys, a light that lets you know the coil in the cabinet isn't working due to either not being plugged in or it's burned out.

God I can't even begin to list the bonehead moves I have done.
Amen Qman...geez...I've done some idiotic crap.....
Yeah, wait until you touch the puck burner to see if it is hot, then you really feel stupid as your wife applies the burn ointment and asks " That was stupid, why did you do that?"
Or when you try to pick up the bubba puck that has been sittin on the hot plate for 20 min. ::)
Amen to that. I am still shedding skin from two weeks ago.
