Title: brats and ice bath

smoking some cheddar brats today, 25 to exact . I have a question , once they reach IT will they need a dip in the ice water also ? also did 18 fresh ones . Thanks in advance everyone for the advice .

Its just a matter if you want em smooth with little wrinkles or lots of em.

If your gonna eat them brats right after they come outta the smoker theres no need for the ice bath.

If you want them for a later date warmed up on the grill or some thing like that you should do the bath to stop the cooking proses.


Cant wait to see and here how them there sausages turn out.
