Man what a storm!
Take care all you folks down south.
I talked with Tommy (TMB) last night. He said they got hit. Property damage and a few trees blown around. But MOST IMPORTANTLY he and his famliy members are all safe and sound.
Chris....glad to hear that Tommy is ok!
I just saw the video.... Good gawd.
What a terrible group of storms, the lastest count is over 200 hundred people that lost their lives...we called my cousin this mornig that lives in Alabama and they are ok but their neighbor 2 miles away lost his barn and some other out buildings but there were no injuries...prayers to all...
Glad Tommy and his family are okay, I hope and wish good luck for Testrocket That storm was a monster.
Peace and Safety to all affected by the storms.
Made it through ok. Some minor tree damage but otherwise ok. Probably be without power for 4-7 days according to the radio. I left and am in a hotel outside of Nashville.
Haven't been able to get a hold of Tommie (glad to see one of you did) or Morgan (testrocket).
Will give updates as available. If anyone gets a hold of Morgan, please post.
I just got done talking with Morgan. Everyone is safe and sound in his local. The MIL is a little upset about the 100 yr old trees in her yard that where destroyed. They are cooking with gas and charcoal and listening to a battery operated radio. Power is not expected to be back on for 7-9 days.
That means all three of our Bama Boys is OK. I just wish the rest of the folks in Alabama was the same. We need to send some prayers and good thoughts to the people of Alabama.
Thanks for the update 10.5, I know most of us were concerned for our Alabama brothers.
yeah, thanks Chris. Morgan called me after you guys talked. Glad to see all is ok.
Nepas, you talked about coming thru to see us on your way back. As much as I would like to get some of your goodies see you again, you may want to reconsider. Gas is going to be in short supply in many areas due to lack of power. So whatever you do, take the time to plan your route. You may be better off going up MS and then across TN.
May you all be safe and I pray that our government will act swiftly to help these States of devistation rebuild the Americans properties that have been demolished from this act of Mother nature!! I am deeply saddened :'(
