Title: Mushu the yard dragon, and now new bbq buddy
Post by: ronbeaux on May 01, 2011, 12:24:08 PM
College boy came to visit today and I was right in the middle of perfection when we heard a noise. A rustling sound I couldn't quite figure out where it came from. CB says "Look Dad, a dragon!" COOL! So I sneaked into the house to Let Mrs RB know she was missing out on Discovery Channel stuff. It was fun watching her trip over stuff running back inside screaming!!!

No wonder I don't find many roaches around here! I've been seeing this beast for 5 years now and he has skeered me more than once :-[

He was in a posing mood.

Belly full he headed back to the man cave to no doubt skeer me again in the future.

Cool. My son would love to have them running around our back yard. He would need a fur coat for the winter though

Mushu?
If he snuck up me, I think I'd call him "Sir"...
Or "Sir Mushu"...
Or "Please don't taste my finger"...

Thats cool.
But they do not last long at my place.
I have a nesting pair of Hawks in my side yard about 200 ft. from where I do my outdoor cooking.
You can just see an eye and beak in this picture.
Best picture I've been able to get as they are up 50 Ft in a Sweetgum tree

Cool, your BBQ Buddy has some neat colors.

The only BBQ Buddies I have around here is some 3 to 4 foot bull snakes.  ;D

Mama almost crapped herself when she went to the mail box this weekend there was a bull snake all coiled up ready to strike.

If you didnt know better you would think it was a rattler, tail shaking and all.

I had to get the mail that day.  ::)
