Title: A short visit to Richmond VA. Any suggestions?
Post by: SoCalBuilder on May 04, 2011, 04:31:46 PM
I'm being drug to a wedding the first weekend in June. I hope to be able to sneak away a little. Any ideas of what shouldn't be missed would be appreciated.

We have eaten several times at this place, if you like BBQ... Buz & Ned's Real Barbecue..and I think that someone from the food channel was here and done a show from here, But if you are into history and the civil war there is lots to see..

Colonial Williamsburg is about an hour away...

In Richmond itself, we took in the Museum of the Confederacy.   Very interesting, and worth a visit.
