Thinking about another thread just curious what books would you guys recommend, which should be required reading, best recipes, most fun, weirdest?

My true favotite is favorite is "My personal trials and errors" by Hopefull Romantic but I guess any one can right such a book.

Paul Kirks championship Barbecue. Covers most if not all topics with 575 recipes, a great reference book.
