Its grillin season!

Had some deer loin steaks lastnight, mama had a new york, cant get her to eat deer, she thinks.  ;)

The loins with some GP.

Then added some lemon pepper.

Dinner time! Yep that there is a hunk of smoked salmon on my plate.  ;D

DANG!!! That is one good looking plate of food ;D  Was any meat glue used to hold those steaks together? ::)

Nope, all natural.  :D

The trick is dont cut them all the through when you butterfly em.  ;)

Yep, the bacon helps too.  ;)

They WERE most excellent.

If I want the kids home for supper alls I gotta say is

"Were havin deer stakes for supper" and they come a runnin.  ;D

Really love the color of that loin, was that one of you Nebraska deer..? we try to put as much venison in the freezer as we can every year, and my whole family loves it..grandkids love it ...

Yes Sir, that there is corn fed Nebraska grown deer.

Between my son, daughter and me we fill the freezer every year.  ;D
