Title: Do the Funky Chicken (no, please don't..)

I was rummaging in the fridge last night and smelled something a bit 'off'.    I had 2 fryer chickens in one of the lettuce crispers that were destined to be 'loaf pan chickens' on the smoker.  The "Sell by" date was today, so I figured they were still good.

Sniffed one and it had a pungent odor coming through the heavy plastic wrap.

Hmmpht.   >:(

Tossed them in the freezer for now, as our trash pickup isn't until next Tuesday..

When in doubt chuck it out. Although it doesnt sound like there was much doubt involved here.

Hope you marked them as "Funky" before you put em in the freezer.  ;D
