Greetings, first dumb question of many to come. I see the 3-2-1 method of smoking ribs, does the total overall time change with the more ribs you are smoking? (3 racks 9lbs v 6 racks 18lbs)
Thanks in advance.
The time can increase some due to the larger load of meat in the Bradley. There could be an hour or two more to the cook if the load is really large. It also helps to rotate your racks a few times during the cook because the closer to the heating element the hotter it is. The lower racks tend to cook faster than the upper racks.
What muebe said...change the racks up and down and front to back..you will do fine...
Thanks for the advise, I will let you know how they turn out.
I agree with what meube said and if you do the rotation right, there is not going to be much difference in time. Once I had 8 BBR in my Bradley and with the right rotation it went just a bit over the 3 in the 3 - 2 - 1.
