Any one heard of it, done it, or is it even recommended? Can I smoke it hot, then eat it? -I don't plan on freezing it was thawed out this week for a fish fry, and of course I wanna smoke some, if I can!

Sorry no help here because I've never smoked fish! But for dang sake don't let it go to waste! Grill, oven, deep fryer or iron skillet just get um cooked and eaten! ;D
I have smoked Walleye, Pike, Pirch,speckled trout and my fav is White Fish. So yes you can smoke just about any kind of fish.
I love Perch. Never had it smoked...
