Stuff and smoke tomorrow.
I'm thinking them is going to be some really good sticks with Elk in them!!
Well elk sticks sure sound good, can't say I ever had them, watchin for the finish...
The recipe works great with venison so I'm sure it will be great with elk. :)
So i got some help today from my 10 yr old Army brat granddaughter. I said lets use the water stuffer. I said it to loud cuz my wife said NOT IN THE HOUSE ...... DOH
I said its misty rain out...Yeah
Break out the hand cranker.
So we did 5.3 lbs of elk sticks going on racks. She did pretty good on cranking.

I see she takes after grandpa, hamming it up in the last photo. ;D ;D ;D
I bet you enjoyed having the help. :)
Now that's a cute little helper Rick, my granddaughters are all growed up, but they stop by from time to time... :D
