Title: Lookie at these Rib-Eyes :)
Post by: muebe on June 12, 2011, 08:14:45 PM
Went to Costco today and picked up some more meat for the chest freezer. I was checking out the Rib-Eyes and the Choice ones looked really nice....but then I saw the Prime cut Rib-Eyes (http://serve.mysmiley.net/jumping/jumping0047.gif) Oh man! They look fantastic! I seasoned them with gunpowder and then vac sealed them for later ;D

Yeah they are not cheap! But what does one quality steak at a fine restaurant cost? An I got three ;D

Sometimes you just gotta splurge a little ;)

YUP!  That's exactly how I look at it Meube!
Just ONE of those in a restaurant would look like this on the menu:

USDA PRIME Ribeye -- 38

Once or twice a year, I buy a box of PRIME ribeyes (or FM or NYS)...
I'd rather have ONE of em, just once in a while, than having cheap steak every night of the week!

Life ain't a dress rehearsal.
