Mrs wanted to do some shopping in St Louis. So I dropped her at her favorite store, and then I went to mine. :D
We hadn't had lunch yet, so I made this a quick stop.
10 Pound Boulders - check! I only grabbed 2, as my freezer is completely full of pulled pork.

After a bit more wandering... (I was freezing to death in the refrigerated section - so I didn't stay long in there)
Quart bottle of Cajun Chef. $2.33 They had gallon jugs for $5.75.

The best part? NO TAX.
Boo yah!
I wish we had one of those stores closer to me.

It's one of those good and bad things...
Yeah - great selection on HUGE things. I saw 300 pounds of CAB shoulder clods.
But it could be very easy to get way out of hand in there. They don't have shopping carts - they have these huge flat carts like you see at Sam's - for moving furniture, TV sets, tires, etc. :D
I just carry in a heavy insulated bag and drag it all over the store.
I'm almost afraid to take Hal in. He might just freeze in front of the USDA Prime beef section and call over a forklift driver. (of which there are plenty zooming all over that place - you kinda have to watch your step in there)
;D

It's not... :(
They will offer memberships to anyone with a State Issued business license. Might take a bit of diplomacy to make it happen.
If you are a KCBS (Kansas City BBQ Society) member, you can get a day pass. That's what I do.

Is that one day pass something they offer at all locations? Do you also need a business license?
Asking because their web site states they are putting one in nashville later this year.

Some Restaurant Depot places are not familiar with the KCBS day pass. Nashville you shouldn't have a problem, but to be on the safe side go to the KCBS site print out the Restaurant Depot coupon. That coupon has a code that the customer service person must key in. You need to show your KCBS card that is current (if it is expired they will not give you a day pass), the coupon that has the code and driver's license or some other form of picture ID.
I take the coupon from the KCBS website, but the St Louis location is familiar with the KCBS day pass. They just glance at my membership card, and scribble out a day pass which the cashier unceremoniously tears up when I check out.
No business license required in that case. The KCBS is in their system as a Non Profit organization.
(for what it's worth - they should have charged me sales tax..)
Nice Pat
I gotta gets meself in dere
Now they just have to finish building the one in Nashville. I can see many a road trip ( about 1 hour 20 min drive).
And for the AD Military members (and possibly retired as well) ask if you can get a day pass. The Virginia Beach and San Diego stores both issue with ID. I think I've found my new Mecca. 8.5lb jar of garlic chili paste...::drool::
I didnt even know I had one!!! It is on the other side of town. I went there and was very impressive. Thanks for the heads up.
FBL when searching florida for a location I noticed they are opening one in Weat Palm, if I remember right that is some what close to you isn't it? just thought I would mention it in case you were unaware of it opening, it says 4th quarter of this year.
