Title: back of smoker too hot !

any one found a soulution for the back part of the lower 2 grids getting my meat too crispy . I do rotate . but I hate opening the smoker when things are rockin and I have my temp right where I want it .  thanks

 If you don't want to rotate you'll have to wait untill Chez Bubba releases Old's circulation fan. Check the link out.

At what temp are you smokin' stuff at? Yes the fan will help level things out, but even on long smokes if you rotate every 25% of the total cook time you should have no problems....

headgames,

you shouldnt have to worry about the temperature lowering while opening the smoker to rotate, i mean it is a neccesity in order to have your food properly and evenly cooked. Besides the slower and longer you cook it the better the results.
