Mine came from Amazon last week for $245. I was going to do the first seasoning smoke but decided to mod it first. It's hard to wait while parts arrive.
I would do the seasoning before the mod. That way you know all is working well before you moded it.

I don't know if they still offer it but, I got my Bradley Original from Save on Foods (Overwaitea Foods, PriceSmart Foods, Cooper's Foods and Urban Fare) for 99,000 "More Points".
Overwaite food chain no longer haas the Bradley Smoker as a reward. They now have a Little Chief for around 70,000 points. Too bad that is were I got mine from also.

when you say your going to "mode it". what does that mean, mode it?
He means mod it. That's converting it to to 500 elements or a 900 watt or any of many different things you can do to make it better suit you.
Bump Canadian tire has the obs for $290 and the dbs for $390. If you live in Canada that' s a good price.
