Title: My Smokeless Father's Day Cookout Surf-N-Turf
Post by: SnellySmokesEm on June 22, 2011, 06:45:21 AM
Since my smoker is on the DL I decided to fire up the CharBroil Red and sear some meat.  So my father's day dinner was surf and turf.  I marinaded london broil in some Andria's Steak Sauce.  The tuna was marinaded in soy sauce, EVOO and Red Wine Vinegar.  Everything was seared on the Red.  After the tuna was done marinading I cooked the rest of the marinade on the stove for a side sauce for the tuna.  The white sauce for the london broil was simply horseradish and sour cream.  If you guys dont like rare meat and fish this meal is not for you.  Man I had a great Father's Day cookout, minus the smoke.   :) :-[

I liked the sauce for the tuna, but to be honest all you really need is soy sauce and wasabi.  Next time I am going to make a wasabi sauce.
