Sounds good to me.  ;D

I use bacon grease to make my roux all the time.  ;)

Slow down there, cowboys! 

     - First, they're charging $15 for eight packets of cornstarch, flour and powdered buttermilk.  Okay, seasoned flour, but it's still flour and powdered milk.

     - Second, and most important, there ain't no bacon in it!  As they say, "No pigs were harmed in the making of Bacon Gravy, so it's Vegetarian..."

Sorry, but that stuff will never see the inside of my kitchen.
