Title: Jerky and nuts

Last weekend I got a good deal on a big piece of beef so i sliced it up to make some jerky'
Sliced and marinated:

Made about 4 lbs of smoked pistachios

The jerky looks good. What flavor did you do??  How do the nuts work out. They look kind of good.

What type of marinade was it?  Any cure in it?

I like the color it turned out.  Well done.

The nuts were made using this thread, I left out the salt since they were salty to begin with. First time i made it using this recipe it was too salty for my taste so now I leave it out. I sometimes add some garlic powder, sometimes a mixture of green sauce and red hot sauce.
