Title: Glossary of Wood smoke flavors?
Post by: Hackk on June 24, 2011, 07:25:29 PM
So I've spent the last 2 hours online, searching everything I can think of, and can not find what Im looking for.

Is there a list of smokable woods with ACCURATE descriptions (as if wine tasting at a vineyard)? Every website that talks about a certain wood, has a completely different opinion on that wood, or what meat it should be used with.

Im still learning, and until I get the chance to taste the same meat, same seasoning, and different wood smoke side by side, I dont know how I'll ever learn. Thanks
