Title: Looking For an Asparagus Recipe

Anybody got a recipe for smoked asparagus?

I  sprinkle them wth EVOO, some garlc powder, cayenne pepper, and then smoke for about an hour. Cook them until they are to the desired level of crispyness.
Another variant is to wrap them with bacon.

Thanks Gus,  I'll give that a try.  I've seen pictures on this site who have done it and it looks good.

For smoker I marinate fro a little bit in olive oil, lawrys, pepper and minced garlic.  Then smoke/cook with oak or alder for about 40 minutes at 220 normally due this while smoke/cooking fish at the same time.  Don't forget to use the frogmat.  You can always finish in oven with broiler to get it crispy if that is how you like them.
