I see you started off right. If you didn't order it now you'll wind up getting it eventually. I also recommend the maverick, you'll use it in the house oven as well for things that just don't need to be smoked (I haven't found those things yet but apparently my wife has.)

I started off with the maverick, auber single probe, obs and pusher pucks. I was very glad I did, they were all things I would have gotten eventually and it was nice to start off with them. Apparently you have been doing your research and I'm sure because of that your first smoke will go great.

Yes I was interested so I been reading this fourm and another for quite a few months till I fiqured out i wanted a Bradley and have read most the posts on here and some 2-4 times. I believe heavly in research and learning. Butut also like to learn from every ones mistakes not just mine. So i think I have a pretty good grip on this. No expert by any means and always welcome critism and suggestions. Hope to make a lot of new friends and a lot of good food.

Well got the OBS ,Auber dual pid and wood pucks today. Threw her together seasoned and now ready for a smoke this weekend! Hee Haa! Going to grab som ribs tomorrow I believe if every thing goes right we'll be smokin soon. By the way evry thing worked great. Got to heat quickly but it was warm outside. Smoker worked on que. Only problem my puck savors didnt come so I wasted an extra. Got assorted woods. Any one have a list of wood pucks and whats best for what. Also smoke strenghts? I know probably Apple is sweet and weak and hickery is strong. Thought some one may of made a cheater list or something. Not familar with alder and some of these woods.

Well thank you,I try! Still a lot to learn. Ive smoked for years or thats what I called it. I was like everyone else and didnt know the differance from smoking and cooking. Used elec, propane and real wood. Fire up the smoke throw on the heat 300-350 cook till done. Most tasted good results varied. Could really tell differances in my sausages. Decided to learn a little and started reading things and ended up here. So I still have a lot to learn only now I know it,LOL I'll do my best to post. Thanks aLL!
