Guys is this normal?  Pic one is the inside top of the door while open.

Yes this is normal. It is just the build up of smoke has gotten thick and dried out and now is flaking off. Just take a piece of newspaper and scrunch it up in a ball, then give the inside of the smoker and light rub. The flakes will rub off easy and then it will reseason itself next time you smoke.

When it gets down to the metal like that, it looks more like moisture build up that cause the seasoning to peel away. That happened to me when I tried to smoke 10 pounds of processed chicken wings at one time. Cooking that many wings is something you shouldn't try with the Bradley.
