Title: My First Brisket
Post by: BC Smokin on July 05, 2011, 12:33:10 PM
I just smoked my first brisket yesterday. It was AMAZING! Very tender. I used a rub that I will add to the recipe section later. also slathered it with mustard. I let this marinate for about 14 hours, then at 5AM put in BDS. Pulled it out at 6PM, no time for FTC, we ate it right away, I don't see how it could have been any better. Everybody loved it and now my son wants me to cook one for his August wedding.

Did my first brisket after following the regulars on the forum.  I like to let any meat "rest" for a while, but its sure fun to pick at it while you ftc it.  Awesome info on this forum.
