Heading on vacation to the Outer Banks this Saturday. The family requested pulled pork. I also smoked some Buffalo Ranch Pretzels and a batch of jerky today at the office to take along.

Butts onto the Primo. A nice thin blue smoke from the Pecan chunks.

Butts stalled for a LONG time at 175 but they finally got to temp and are ready for FTC.

They were calling for rain overnight so I used an old charcoal grill as my weather-proof box.

Pulled and ready to vac seal and freeze for the trip.

Of course I had to taste test. Topped with some Blues Hog BBQ sauce and some local sweet corn.

Now time for the jerky. This was my first batch in a long time. Thanks for all the tips NePa's and FLBentRider!

All that smoked goodness looks great.

Them pretzels & jerky look like some good road trip kinda snacks and that pulled pork makes for some good eats wile camping.

Love the Outer Banks, a friend has a home in the Waves section. We stayed a week, fished everyday. I also took pulled pork, it was easy for heating up and tasted great.
