most complained that they ate to much good food. Some people we have not seen in years am glad we had a chance to visit with them and had long chat most in good spirits and in fun
thank you all for your kind words and support through this tough time in my life, and along with my family
Beefman....looks like everything went well for your celebration of your brother's life. Although he may be gone...he will continue to live through you, friends and your family. Thanks for sharing the pictures I much enjoyed them :)
Well done Beef...a nice affair....I think your brother would be happy that you celebrated with family and friends...
Great looking get to gether. You have the right idea celebrate the LIFE not morn the death
Well done my friend, looks like you did a really great job of being prepared with all the food, I too lost my oldest brother 2 years ago and I keep a little picture of him on my desktop, It sure looks like y'all had a great day...
I can not agree with 10.5 more. I hope this poem helps.
WHEN THROUGH A PERSON
A LITTLE MORE LOVE AND GOODNESS
A LITTLE MORE LIGHT AND TRUTH COMES INTO THE WORLD, THEN THAT PERSON'S LIFE HAS HAD MEANING.
I'm FREE
Don't grieve for me
For now I'm free.
I'm following the path God has laid you see.
I took his hand when I heard his call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play;
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I found the peace at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void
Then fill it with remembered joys.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Oh yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts, and peace to thee,
God wanted me now; he set me free.
Brad
