Title: Turkey Jerky: Where do you get your victims?
Post by: Boosted98gsx on July 31, 2011, 07:24:00 PM
I'm looking for something to harvest to turn into turkey jerky. I'm used to Centerville Tx's Woody's Smokehouse turkey jerky which is very thin sliced (not ground / extruded) breast meat. How should / would I go about finding a turkey breast worth turning into jerky? Or is it better I stick with beef (for the price)?

Just go to the store and buy a boneless turkey breast.

Easy peasy

I have used the 1# plastic tubes of preground turkey for many years, I have found that brands do matter as some seem to contain more water than others, Jenny-O seems to be the worse.
