Great news Rick! OK, first things first. Start practicing saying the word "Y'all" right now. You should also end each sentence with mam or sir. It is pretty much mandatory. :D
Glad to hear you got what you want. Love the south being that's were a lot of my kin originate. Congratulations!

Don't forget that first names are always Mister or Miss. Such as Mister Larry and Miss Jan
Come on down Rick! Y'all are going to love it! Yes sir you will. ;D
Grits...
Sweet tea...
BUTTAH...
Unidentifiable vegetables that end in 'greens'...
Bring the snowblower with you and park it in the front yard.
It'll drive the natives nuts trying to figure out what you're gonna do with it !!

Welcome to the ranks of the "Damn Yankee" -- A yankee is someone from the north, a damn yankee is one that moved to the south.
If the people in Georgia are anything like the folks in AL, you're gonna love it.
thats fantastic. a new adventure is always good. 8)
Well !!! I suspect we will be seein smoked opossum and sweet tatters before to long...lol..
Cool!
Fresh road kill:
Drive down the streat and draw a circle around the dead animals. Turn around and come back. The ones without circles are fresh!
Congrats Rick and Chrystal, hope you find your dream location. :)
Great news Rick. Hope you have nothing but a blast down there. I know you will fit in cause they love smoked food down south.

I know it is treated as a joke, but having lived in both --while 100 is 100 the humidity does make it a bit more miserable vs the dry heat.
Wife just called me. Her physical and security check is done and Savannah would like her on a 9-11 start date ;D
I gotta pack faster ;D
You gonna find/buy a house in less than a month??

More than likely we will rent for awhile. Have a nice place lined up now like 15 mins from the airport.
Well
My wife and I just told our neighbors that we will be moving within the next 45 days :'(
They are sad but happy for us as we will be leaving good friends :'(
This is going to be a rough few weeks for sure.

Just remember they do get snow down south and its better to stay off the roads. I brought my wife back from Virgina Beach were she lived so we went back often. First time it snowed I was ready to go home. Only a couple inches on ground so what I've drove my whole live in it. So I started home. I ended up grabbing a room for me and the wife. Them people dont know how to drive in snow! About got hit so many times they scared me so bad I got off the road. Just thought Id give you a heads up.
LOL

Remember here in north east PA we get feet of snow not inches and ya wuld thunk they know how to drive here....NOT
I no ascared of a few inches of southern snow. Stay outda way billy bob i'm drivin :o
Just catching up here...
Woooooooooo------Hooooooooooooo!!!!
CONGRATS!!!
TIP: Tell em u wuz born there, and u is just "moving home".
That way, you'll just be a Yankee. (Not a DAMNED YANKEE)
And.. Say things like "Awrighten".
Another thing...
It's now PC to call all the gals (regardless of age) "Puddin", "Sweet Britches" and "Sugar" and such.
Of course, you'd better hold the door open for 'em.
Or, forget the "Sweet Britches" thang.
Southern gals EXPECT you to hold the door. Even if they're still half-way across the parking lot...
You just wait and hold it.
Awrighten.
