Title: low sodium
Post by: lophole on August 05, 2011, 06:02:30 PM
Blood pressure problems. Dr. says cut salt. I usually make about 100 lbs. of various sausages all smoked, vacuumed and frozen.  Any ideas.  Looking for recipes. Thanks.

You might look at that no salt stuff. Find it by the salt/pepper section.

Remember allot of your kits have salt in the mix.

Before you switch to salt substitutes, check with your doctor or pharmacist to make sure they won't cause any side effect if you are taking particular type of medication to control your BP.
