My local Schnucks had whole butts on sale this week so I picked up a few. Unfortuantely, the freezer was full and this one wouldn't fit. So, I was forced to slather it in CYM and rub let it rest for a few days and then smoke it. It was in my DBS for about 15 hours. That included 4 hours of Hickory, Apple and some left-over Jim Beam pucks. My tongue almost beat my mouth to death!

Niiiiice!
The bark looks great and I gotta have some beans with my pulled pork.
You should try addin some of that pork to your beans, sets it over the top.
Oh yeah! I got in on that Schnuck's sale as well.. (6 of them parked in the office cafeteria's freezer, 2 in a friend's freezer, might saunter in tomorrow for a couple more) ::)

I usually try to save some to add to beans, but with two boys, both in their 20s, there's usually not much left.
Lucky butt. Bet the other ones are wishing they were the chosen one. ;D Look great.

Squirrel, they also had some fresh tri-tip. I bought 3 of those. When I asked the butcher if he had any he told me that Missouri guys weren't supposed to know about tri-tip. He asked how long I had lived in California. (I never have).
DANG!!! Bark looks awesome.
I'll take mine with beans and coleslaw.
That Butt was Sweet looking before you put anything on it.
