Hal,
Did you happen to notice the pro bass fisherman that was there doing fishing seminars? His name is Mark Menendez. He's from...wait a minute I'll think of it.......oh yeah, I forgot..........he's from PADUCAH KENTUCKY! Also happens to be a good friend of mine.

Y'all are funny
I think thats the same guy who did the Bradley demo when i worked at Cabelas. He did the smoked sausage-n-cracker thing
From what I can see the front of that store looks exactly like the one in Omaha.

Yep, Ferris Wheel, float plane hanging from the ceiling, gazillion gallon salt water aquarium, game mounts loaned to store from hunters all across the Midwest... It's quite a place.
I've never been in it yet, still waiting for the 'new' to wear off. Every time I go by, the parking lot is almost full.

Hmmmm....
Must have been after we left (?)
They had stuff going on
all day long...
(the Scheel's gal that gave us the free Coca Colas also gave us a
schedule...)
They had a big pool with
long-jumping dogs while we were there.
And GUN dealer trucks...

Aint no gazillion gallon salt water aquarium here but we got every thing else.
If ya go at 8:00 AM the parking lot aint so full, the 'new' has worn off here but its still always packed.
I'll have to pop in after work one of these days... It's on my way home - sort of.
They carry Traeger pellet grills. (and Bradleys - obviously)
I'll have to see what other cooking goodies they have inside.

They don't really have all that much cooking stuff --- not for the SIZE of the place.
Gander Mtn and Bass Pro both have at least as much.
BUT ---- They have a SERIOUS
gun selection.

Ohhhh...
They have all that --- I just thought they would have MORE than the other guys.
That building is bigger than a lot of
towns are.
Scheels is more of a "spotring goods" store,,,is in sports. ::)
Thats were we get most of the equipment for playing ball, all there stuff is top notch.
LOTS of fishing and hunting stuff too!
They even have allot of stuff for this thing called "Golf" :D
