I have had several people ask me that question...so instead of muddying up a thread, I would put it here.
Rckcrwlr is Rockcrawler without vowels.
I am into RC Rockcrawling. You may ask, what is that.
Well there are to parts to it, first being the Comp side and second is the Scale Side
On the Comp side, there are very strict rules...
Here are a few of my comp rigs:

Very cool stuff Rc. I saw the Extreme 4X4 episode with your buddys replica and that was such an awesome job he did on it. You have some wicked rigs your self and those scalers are great. I lean toward the scale stuff myself.
My brother was into the gas truck racing for awhile plus we have been into flying for years.
Right now we are into the indoor helicopters and my bro has a couple of full blow heli's. But he is into those gas powered bikes which he builds and sells them thru his on-line website.
Anyway I love the pics, I might post some vid of my heli's if I can get someone to film it for me.
Cool toys!
Thanks guys...
Many years ago I told my wife that I don't drink, do drugs or run around with strange women at bars...this is my addiction.
About 2 months ago she said to me... "I wish you would drink, do drugs and run around with women at bars, it would have been cheaper"
The Black/Copper Buggy and the Red/Black Truck are 1/5 scale. To give you a reference the body on the red truck is as big as the hood on my wife's real rubicon.
Here is a video of me running the Black/Copper buggy on the sand dunes in Michigan this pass vacation.

My son use to have allota fun with a TRex, he spent all his money makin that thing flat out fly.
I do so much damage on the ground, I can't imagine the air. I have done planes and the new CX heli's but that is it for air.
Cool
I like the landcruiser and trailer.

Buddy built the trailer out of foam...The campground now uses it for promotions...
The TRex is an scaled down truck, kinda like what you got big tires major suspension and all. He just like doing things like the monster trucks do,,,,,,,,,,fly. ;D
That thing when not in 4 wheel drive would do a wheelie for 20 yards.
Even had a trany that would shift from low to high and I think it would do 20 mph.

My bad...I thought you were referencing the Trex Heli.
I had an onroad car that would do 70mph. The motor ran on NitroMethane at 75,000 RPMs. I am all electric now.
Awesome toys!!

I'm guessing the mph but that thing ran on the Nitro,,and it would scream.
Very cool. Looks like lots of fun :)
Ok, gotta ask...Where'd you find an Arleigh Burke and do they make other classes??

Good eye there Displaced...
That is a ProBoat's Arleigh Burke Destroyer (http://www.proboatmodels.com/Products/ProductGallery.aspx?ProdID=PRB3375)

Booo! It's now discontinued and they didn't make either a Spruance or a Tico. I also would have had to figure out how to put a brass .....overboard fairlead assembly....on the back end.

I've got a buddy that works part time at a hobby shop and is into RC and I think he would love seeing all these PICS. They are cool to me too! Thanks! ;D

I have the Blade Mcx and the blade Mcx twin rescue Heli's. They are very cool and just about anyone can fly them cause the Mcx has counter rotating blades and the twin...well it obviously has counter rotation. these things are so easy to fly.
Here is a video of the Blade Mcx
http://youtu.be/mmwuiEV31GY
and the Mcx twin
http://youtu.be/rxgcriuLfSI
These are from youtube and kind of corny but sort of shows how easy they are to fly.
I had a CX2 for a while...The are definitely fun.
I wanted to share with you my first real run of the 5th scale Short Course truck that I built. This truck comes with a 26cc Weed wacker motor.
Specs are:
Length: 35"
Width: 18"
And weighs in at about 30 lbs.
Now, I am not one for having to haul around fuel when running my rigs so I opted to Go Green and run Electric. So the Motor is the size of a Beer Can. The Controller can handle up to 33 volts.
First run exposed a weakness by eating a gear.
After getting everything dialed in, here is what I came up with...
http://youtu.be/4VxlJmLr_5Y
Enjoy...

I bet I could pull that with my truck... LOL
Very nice and I am jealous.
Are those competition buggies nitro?
.21's?
I think he said he pretty much sticks to electric now. I love the nitro but hate the mess. It gets so sticky and gooey.

Correct. These are all run on Lithum Polymer batteries.
Looks like a ton of fun! I do the full size thing :)
