Title: beef kabobs, the beefmann way

bit the bullet and  decided to do beef kabob's for memorial day weekend and here is the start.

12 lbs of sirloin roast

cubes into 1 inch cubes

2 large red onions

5 red bell peppers

the teriyaki juice

all mixed together  and into the fridge till Sunday when the smoking  starts

How did you cook them hunks of beef?

soaked in teriyaki for 3 days then into the smoker with a mixture of hickory, mesquite and maple for 3 hours and cooked at a box temp of 215 till done took 8 1/2 hours though i was  in no  rush

Another for the list! I was looking forward to what 12 lbs of meat looked like on a bunch of skewers :(  I take it 'Kabob' does not literally translate to 'shoved on a pointy stick' :D

i admit i got lazy... besides, what does the skewers actually due besides hold everything together. i did place onions and bel betters and the meat toghter and cooked  just like on the skewers and smoked.. heheheh
