Title: Smokin up a brisket (and some ribs)

Made up my rub but changed 1 thing,,,,,,wor powder.

All seasoned up.

After a soak time flip over and do it again.

Never heard of Worcestershire in powder form, very cool.

First couple briskets I ever did, I used that Wooster powder that Sonny got for you and I.

Then I promptly lost the jar I had it in..

I just found it again a few weeks ago!

Been REAL busy, got tater salad, mac salad and cole slaw done and in the fridge.

The brisket IT was at 174 to 178 with the thermopen when I foiled the ribs............PERFICT!

I'm feelin good in more ways than one.  ;)

It is great stuff but will turn to rock if it gets exposed to humid air.
I used a vacuum canister that was somewhat successfull for many months.
The powder did get onto the gasket an the canister would not maintain the vacuum for a long period of time.  I would recommend separating the quantity and vacuum pack in multiple small quantities so is stays fresh longer until you need another quantity.
