Title: Brisket - apple juice alternative for ftc
Post by: hvhunter on September 05, 2011, 04:29:17 PM
Good evening and happy Labor Day to all. I'm about 4 degree's away from pulling my first ever brisket out of the smoker at the magical temp of 188, and just realized that I don't have any apple juice for the ftc. Too many cerveja's have been consumed this afternoon for a run to the market, so what are my alternatives? Thanks in advance....

Just foil!

Don't have to juice it.

I never have. It will make it's own juice.

Happy Labor Day to you also.

With T-Minus 1 degree and counting....that will be the plan! Thanks for getting back to me.
