It is crazy how much rain we have got. Wife is home today because all of the local schools are closed. Still pouring outside as I write this.

Here are some pictures from yesterday. I am sure it will be worse today.

its not too bad around here yet. i think the major flooding is further east, take care over there. i pasted a piece frm the newspaper in ricks post but will put it here as well:
BREAKING NEWS: Interstate 80 closed by flooding; hundreds of central Pa. roads closed; no alternate routes east are open as of Thursday morning.

Thursday, September 8, 2011
Interstate 80 at Bloomsburg was closed Thursday morning due to flooding. PennDOT advises there are no alternate routes in the area that are open. More than 200 roads in central Pennsylvania were reported closed as of 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Susquehanna River at Harrisburg is projected by Friday to hit 28.5 feet, well above flood stage and the highest level since Tropical Storm Agnes' 32.6 feet in 1972.

People driving east from DuBois are advised to use caution, or delay or cancel their travel plans. PennDOT reminds motorists they can log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check interstate traffic conditions before heading out.
