Title: Spicy Brisket
Post by: HookedOnMyBradley on September 09, 2011, 01:21:42 PM
I ended up misreading the rub recipe and put in 1TBSP of white pepper and 1TBSP of cayane instead of 1tsp of each.  I was worried that it would ruin things but it did not ruin a thing in fact it made it spicy good!  My mouth waters every time I see this pic......

Looks good to me.  Nothin wrong with using that much pepper.  I make a rub that has a kick to it and I put in some brown sugar to give it the sweet and spicy combo.  Sometimes when you make a mistake it turns out to be a new recipe  ;D
