Thanks for making me feel better guys, I like mexico and most of its people. I just dont like seeing our jobs out sourced to different countries and ecspecially now the way the unemployment rate is. I will buy Best/Stanley padlocks from here on out which will accept a I/C core ;D

Interchangeable core. I havea special key that will remove the core and I can install it in any other cylinder making it interchangeable.

Interchangeable core. Also referred to as the BEST Style or Small Format
Interchangeable Core (SFIC). It is designed to allow quick change out of the
keying in the door.
Its use eliminates the need to breakdown the doors locking mechanism
in order to repair or replace the cylinder mechanism.

very informative. My dad did one of those mail order locksmith courses but I lived 600 miles away at the time or I would likely have known this stuff. Cool Beans fella's.
