Title: chicken cordon blu
Post by: viper125 on September 15, 2011, 03:52:15 PM
Well made up some simple cordon Blu's with ham , provolone and Jan's rub. then got sick. Just a flu or something but had me sleeping the last couple days. So today the wife took things in her own hands. Sorry no pics guys but just plain forgot. She put these in the oven at 350 for 35 minutes. Along with some potatoes and onions smothered in butter in foil. Only real complaint with me was no smoke and her most the cheese run out. But I informed her low temps in a smoker would have took care of that. Got to say they were great for my first time. but next time in the smoker! As for pic's I know the rule! Just wasn't up to par that evening.

Well seems I cant shake this stuff. Between me and the wife passing it back and forth. Plus the fact I have 5 kids and 11 grand kids that come visit and we watch all the grand kids off an on. Plus we watch them when their sick. Its just a giant merry go round here.
Besides that seems like me and the wife enjoy doing sausage and bacon and stuff together. She;'s not ready to smoke it yet but she likes to help make it. She also enjoys cleaning up for me including removing grates, cover, dishes and evey thing that comes out. And I'm not about to ask her to stop. I hate cleaning up. LOL
Well hope the rest of you are better. Better get off got 8 grandchildren to get ready for bed. LOL
