Title: BDS Heated, Then Stopped Heating
Post by: ParkSass on September 15, 2011, 05:27:01 PM
So far, I have been loving my BDS; but last weekend I was making jerky, (the 4th use of my 4-rack BDS purchased Jul 12/11); and after heating for several hours just fine, I went out to check, and the temperature dropped significantly.  There was no more heat. I ended up finishing the jerky in the oven.
I suppose I should just contact customer service.  Hopefully, I won't be trying to screwdriver this or multimeter that...I'm not not 'that kind of girl' :)

Edit: a bad click or something..wrong forum topic. Sorry!

It does require the use of a screw driver and a pair of pliers to change

the element.

But it is kinda easy to do.

But you have a friend that would do that for ya.
