Was curious to know what type of blends do you guys and gals make with your wood pellets. I have in my possesion, Apple, Cherry, Hickory, Pecan, Maple, and Mesquite. All traeger brand pellets. I know some folks dont like them but its what I can get here locally and by locally I mean 50 miles away. Free delivery. Saves me tons of $$$ on shipping from online purchases.
The CookinPellets blend I use is Apple, Cherry, Hickory and Maple. I would assume equal amounts.
Don't taint any of those other flavors with Mesquite! ;D
I only will mix two types. Don't know why but I just do. I have been using a lot of cherry pellets lately. I have been mixing a 50/50 of cherry & apple, cherry & maple, and cherry & pecan.
I use all Bear Mountain Pellets. I get them for $14 a 20lb bag and the guy is about a mile away from my house ;D

Lucky. My free delivery consists of them delivering the pellets to my brothers house and I pick them up on either my way to work or home. They do free within 35 miles of their store. My bro lives in the same area I work with the phone company. My deal is 6 twenty lbs. Bags for $107.00 total. Any flavor.

I don't care much for the Bradly mesquite, but in the Treager it's pretty good. Not bitter at all.
Ditto with Pat
